Lifesaving and Lifeguarding Courses

For the year 2026, the registration for Lifesaving courses (bronze courses).

Online registration for swimming will open on May 5 for residents and May 12 for non-residents.

Visit our UniverusRec registration portal to create your account, add your family members and learn to navigate on the website. 

• Log in by entering your username and password. (You can create your own account or a family account by following the instructions on the site).
• During registration, you may be placed in a virtual waiting room. Please wait until it is your turn to register on the site.
• Be advised that session availability is handled on a first come, first served basis.
• Late registrations can be made by contacting us via email or in person.
• The lessons are for individuals who will be 11 years of age or older before the beginning of the lessons.

• Bronze Star: To be 11 years old or older before the first lesson. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for more details.
• Bronze Medallion: Minimum 13 years of age prior to exam date or certification of Bronze Star. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for details.
• Bronze Cross: Bronze Medallion. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for more details.

Monday and Wednesday mornings, from July 6 to August 12.

The instructor will communicate the precise schedule with registered persons.

• Bronze Star: 105$
• Bronze Medallion: 155$
• Bronze Cross: 165$
• Bronze Medallion AND Bronze Cross: 320$

Note: Fees are not refundable if a participant needs to leave early from the lessons, unless the Township cancels the lessons or that participant has a health issue (a medical certificate will be required).
