You can rent the community halls of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet to hold meetings, parties, events and more. Booking and rental procedures, rates and services may vary. See our Community Rental Hall Policy to learn your responsibilities.

The large hall can accommodate 400 people

Rental Fees 

  • Daily fee : $400
  • Set-up fees : $75
  • Wedding Reception : $600
  • Funeral services : $160
  • Hourly Rates for Community Programs (i.e. Zumba, Art Classes, etc.) : $31.50/hour

Deposits and Other Charges

  • HST is included in the fees
  • A $50 deposit is required to complete the reservation (the deposit will then be subtracted from the total amount owed) 
  • A $150 deposit will be required, in addition to the applicable rental fees, to cover any damages and cleaning required to return the hall to the same state as before the rental
  • A $20 key deposit will be required, to cover any lost or damaged key
  • A $150 deposit is required for the bar service. To recover your bar deposit, you must make a net profit equal to or greater than your deposit
  • Funeral services do not require a deposit
