This FLOOD WARNING statement is an update to the Flood Watch issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on April 14th, 2023.
Water levels are expected to continue rising within the Ottawa River Basin due to increased snowmelt associated with above normal snowpack and high temperatures over the weekend.

This FLOOD WATCH statement is an update to the Flood Outlook Statement issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on April 7th, 2023.
Due to signifiant snow melt and forecasted rainfall anticipated on Sunday and Monday, water levels are expected to continue rising within the Ottawa River Basin.

Update - 12:15 p.m. April 7th 2023
As of noon today, Hydro One service has been restored to the vast majority of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet. Hydro One crews are still working to restore hydro service to the Curran area and the Plantagenet Concessions. According to Hydro One, service should be restored today by 5:30 p.m.
The rest centre at City Hall will be closed as of noon today. A source of drinking water will remain available for our citizens until noon tomorrow at the Plantagenet...
