Call for Applications for Boards of Directors

The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is seeking motivated persons to sit on two local boards:

The Public Libraries’ Board of Directors (7 members)

• Eligibility: Board members must be 18 years of age, Canadian citizens and residents of the Township.
• Skills sought: Passion for literacy, reading, culture, continuous learning and knowledge transfer, particularly with youth.

Hydro 2000 Inc.’s Board of Directors (5 members)

• Eligibility: Board members must be 18 years of age, residents of Canada and not bankrupt.
• Expertise sought: A strong financial background is an asset. Other skills and background should complement the business of the Board and would namely include legal, business, human resources, marketing and engineering.

All interested persons must submit a cover letter of interest outlining how their experience and training meet the basic requirements for the position.
