Our municipality is made up of seven essentially francophone villages including Alfred, Curran, Lefaivre, Pendleton, Plantagenet, Treadwell and Wendover.

For those who seek a more rural setting, the Township is crisscrossed by quiet country roads and lanes which, along with the banks of the Ottawa and South Nation Rivers, all offer great sites for homes or cottages.

A family-friendly municipality, our Township is home to numerous parks, outdoor recreation  installations and five public libraries. Our many social clubs in the Township offer you volunteering opportunities and social activities.
