More than ever, each of us must contribute to a friendly and anti-discrimination climate for the well-being of all. This month, let’s take the opportunity to discover the many contributions that Black Canadians and their communities have made to our country.
Thank you to the Réseau de soutien à l’immigration francophone de l’Est de l’Ontario (Francophone Immigration Network of Eastern Ontario), which proposed that Municipal Council recognize February 2021 as Black History Month. Each year, the Township canton will mention the month and guide you to the best resources available.
