Notice to Permanently Close a Portion of Road Allowance

NOTICE TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE A PORTION OF ROAD ALLOWANCE BEING PART OF LOT 18, CONCESSION 1, IN THE GEOGRAPHIC TOWNSHIP OF ALFRED, NOW IN THE TOWNSHIP OF ALFRED AND PLANTAGENET, IN THE COUNTY OF PRESCOTT, DESIGNATED AS PARTS 1 AND 2 ON PLAN 46R9234

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet’s By-law 2012-12 to establish procedures including the giving of notice to the public, that the Council of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet proposes to pass a By-law to permanently close a portion of road allowance being Part of Lot 18, Concession 1 – Alfred, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 46R8234.

A copy of the map showing the lands to be affected is included.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 4:30 p.m., at the Town Hall: 205, Old Highway 17, Plantagenet, the Council will hear in person, or by his/her counsel, solicitor, or agent any person who claims that his/her lands will be prejudicially affected by the said by-law and who applies to be heard.

Any person who wishes to be heard should make written application by noon on Monday, June 17, 2024.
